This is a 1-5 page written project proposal. It is intended to help you map out your project and clarify your approach. Your proposal should include the following:

Related work: 1-2 paragraphs on similar approaches that have been tried before
Your Solution: 3-4 paragraphs describing your plan, how you will implement it, how it solves the problem, and what types of conclusions you expect to reach
Experiments: 1-3 paragraphs describing how you plan to evaluate your work. List experiments that you are planning to perform, explaining what you are going to do and what the results are going to show.
Equipment Needed: 1 paragraph listing any software or hardware that you will need to implement your plan.
Schedule: A detailed list of the steps you will take to complete your project over the course of the semester. Be sure to include dates and important milestones. This will help you keep on track and further clarify the scope of what you are planning to perform.
Conclusion: 1 paragraph summarizing what you just wrote.
Project proposals need to be turned in to me in person by each group. This will allow us to sit down and discuss the proposal and its details.
