Nestled in an idyllic setting just south of main campus, the Oberlin Culinary Coop offers a brief respite from our students' daily academic rigor. Among many other things, the OCC boasts a tight knit community filled with fun and fellowship. In creating this community the founders of OCC hope to instill only the best values within our students. 148 S. Professor St. finally offers a perfect combination of spirit, energy and elegance, reflecting not only the youthful exuberance of Oberlin's student body but also their pedigree and cultivation. Gathered here are some of the finest culinary minds within Oberlin, coming together to match spatchulas and trade secrets.

As a new branch of the esteemed tree that is the Oberlin Co-op system, OCC adheres firmly to underlying principles of caring and community. The Co-op system with their venerable tradition of excellence within Oberlin, is sure to be fully realized in the heart of its newest member. In a co-op, students take responsibility for all aspects of day-to-day operations and use a participatory, democratic approach to setting co-op policy and resolving disputes. By participating in the life of a co-op, students learn valuable lessons in self-governance and collective, participatory decision making. With over an acre of land, state of the art facilities, and beautiful blue paneling, OCC offers its students a rare opportunity for creating lifelong friendships within the context of Oberlin's best and brightest.
