2014 ACM Regional Programming Contest

November 11th, 2014

The Oberlin College programming contest teams had a strong showing at the regional ACM meet this weekend. There were over 140 teams, including many from powerhouses such as Carnegie Mellon University and University of Waterloo. Our top team, “Megahurts”, came in 15th overall, which placed Oberlin as the second highest ranking school at the Youngstown site (the largest of the four regional sites).

Our competitors were Nathan Paige, Nathan Klein, Laura Watiker, Evan Hertafeld, Scott Hulver, Sam Rossin, Alex Cotsarelis, Eren Guendelsberger, Chris Egerton, Amanda Strominger, Devon Wells, and Tim Hennigan.

Congratulations on a great performance! Next up is the Denison contest in the Spring.
