Bottom-up Design
One way to build a hierarchy of cards is to create an initial
circuit and then select File | New Main Circuit (or
TB 
). This is illustrated by the following example: - Create the circuit (in this case a half adder)
- Select File | New Main Circuit
- Drag the subcircuit from the subcircuit window onto the circuit
board.
- Drag multiple instances if desired.
Adding a New Subcircuit to an Existing Circuit
Select File | New Sub Circuit to add a new named subcircuit. The new
subcircuit will initially appear at the bottom of the hierarchy.
