Goals
Students will be able to separate media exaggerations about the Internet from the current realities
Students will become familiar with the general background of network communication as it applies to the Internet
Students will be familiar with the important features of browser applications
Students will practice using search engines, directory searches, and other skills to find information on the WWW
Prerequisite Skills
Comfort with the keyboard and mouse
Experience with the STAIR process
