Running Hurdles

Exercise 3

"Load" allows you to initialize Shakey's grid to various predefined patterns.

Load the "Hurdles" world now.

The walls represent vertical hurdles that Shakey, the track and field star, is about to run. At the top of each hurdle is a flag.

Try moving Shakey about this world.

Q. 6
What happens if you try to step into a hurdle?

Q. 7
Construct a program that will maneuver Shakey over the hurdles, one at a time, and have him collect all the flags. Shakey must land on the ground after jumping over each hurdle... he is not strong enough to jump over more than one hurdle at a time.

Now you are ready to begin writing some programs on your own.
